Many
of you will remember Dean, our long-time route serviceman originally hired by
my Dad (Charles Palen) back in the late “Curtiss” days, transitioning to
Tri-State Breeders and Landmark Genetics, then Semex USA, then Taurus-Service. Retiring in 2017, he had lived quietly with
wife Julie outside Ionia. Dean dealt with major circulation issues since
then, and passed away after a heart attack late December.
He was 72 years old.
Small steps to better mating, grazing, husbandry, and production. Musings from Greg Palen of Michigan Livestock Service and a "aAa" breeder.
